A leading company in the automotive sector, Toyota, is on the lookout for a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role is crucial for implementing innovative strategies and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of new strategies for business model implementation, specifically tailored for connected and Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
- Oversee business development and sales initiatives across the entire TSAM (Toyota South Africa Motors) business, including Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, TFS, Hino & Suppliers, and the dealer network.
- Foster essential partnerships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of new services.
- Continuously analyze market trends and competitor strategies to refine business development approaches.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, opportunities, and the effectiveness of strategies to senior management.
Requirements
- Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development or a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with a proven track record in developing successful sales strategies.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the automotive market dynamics and customer needs.
