A leading company in the fire systems industry, Emporium Human Capital, is currently seeking a skilled Building Systems / Fire Systems Technician. This is a prime opportunity to join a dedicated team in East Rand, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire protection systems including alarm systems, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
- Conduct periodic inspections and performance tests on fire systems as per regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and assist in preparing documentation for inspections.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding fire safety measures and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on projects to ensure successful completion of installations.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant technical certifications in fire systems or building systems.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role, with strong knowledge of fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Building Regulations and relevant safety standards.
- License: Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R30,000 – R40,000 per month.
