A leading company is currently seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who excels in communication and administrative tasks to join a healthcare environment in Soweto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, greeting patients and visitors with professionalism and care.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries efficiently, ensuring proper communication.
  • Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the calendar for medical staff.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, processing insurance claims, and managing office supplies.
  • Provide support in billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Matric certificate or equivalent; further education in administration or healthcare will be beneficial.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software.
  • Attributes: Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and a caring attitude towards patients.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R9,000 – R15,000 per month.
