Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient blasting activities under the supervision of a certified blasting engineer.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of blasting plans according to safety regulations.
- Maintain equipment and tools essential for blasting operations.
- Monitor and report on the condition of working areas before and after blasting.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks in the working environment.
- Provide support to other team members, including Pump Attendant, PTW, and Belt Attendant as needed.
Requirements
- Qualification: Valid Blasting Assistant Certificate.
- Experience: At least 1 year of practical underground mining experience in roles such as Pump Attendant, PTW, or Rock Breaker.
- Advantageous: 6 months of practical experience specifically as a Blasting Assistant.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R12,000 – R18,000 per month.
