AECOM, a leader in infrastructure and environmental services, is currently seeking an experienced Engineer – Building Civils, Data Centers to join their dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed designs for building civil structures and data centers under the oversight of a Senior Engineer or Associate Engineer.
- Analyze project requirements and collaborate with various technical teams to ensure aligns with architectural and regulatory specifications.
- Participate in project planning and execution phases ensuring compliance with set timelines and budgets.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to designs, ensuring accuracy and clarity for project stakeholders.
- Support project management efforts by providing technical insight and addressing design challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant engineering degree (BSc or BEng) in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in civil engineering roles, preferably with data center projects.
- Skills: Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication abilities to work effectively in teams and with clients.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary Range: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.
