Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage monthly financial close processes, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Monitor and prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal financial performance and strategic planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements in finance and accounting operations for better efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualification: BCom Accounting or similar qualifications, with SAICA or ACCA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Skills: Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of South African tax laws and compliance requirements.
