Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize a diverse collection of toys and learning materials.
- Facilitate caregiver-baby playgroups to enhance developmental play.
- Assist in planning and conducting accredited and non-accredited training programs.
- Engage with families and caregivers to promote the library’s resources and services.
- Ensure the library space is welcoming and conducive to learning and play.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree or qualification in Education, Library Science, or Child Development.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in a library or educational setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion: A genuine love for children’s literature and the importance of play in learning.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
