A leading company, The Focus Group, is on the lookout for a proactive Receptionist Switchboard / Helpdesk Operator to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a vibrant administrative environment while enhancing your customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the switchboard efficiently to manage incoming calls, ensuring effective communication with clients and contractors.
  • Provide excellent helpdesk support by responding to inquiries and addressing issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls and manage correspondence effectively.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
  • Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors and phone contacts.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a switchboard or helpdesk operator role, preferably within an administrative setting.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in relevant software and excellent communication skills.
  • Attributes: Ability to work well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
