Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Engage with government officials, health agencies, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that support public health initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify relevant policy issues and opportunities for the organization.
- Lead the government relations team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on government actions and their implications for the organization’s programs.
Requirements
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Public Health, Political Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in government relations or advocacy roles, with a focus on health policy.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the South African healthcare system and relevant legislation.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R40,000 – R60,000 per month.
