A leading company, Innovazi Consulting, is currently seeking a dedicated Compliance, Health & Safety & Housekeeping Officer. This is a prime opportunity to join a dynamic team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and records related to Health and Safety policies.
- Implement and monitor Occupational Health & Safety compliance measures across facilities.
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff on health and safety practices.
- Respond to incidents and assist in the investigation to implement corrective measures.
- Work with management to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a compliance-related role within a Textile/Clothing Manufacturing environment (non-negotiable).
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Compliance Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of South African health and safety legislation.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R30,000 – R40,000 per month.
