Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that the site meets its statutory obligations regarding Occupational Health and Safety.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures to create a safer work environment.
• Train and educate employees on safety standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Qualification: National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: SAMTRAC (minimum requirement).
• Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Skills: Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance standards.
