Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with construction health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and oversee safety training programs for all construction personnel to enhance safety awareness.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and workers to establish safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to safety performance and incidents for effective monitoring and review.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of safety regulations, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: Registered Safety Officer or similar accreditation is preferred.
