Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity is maintained.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to nursing staff or management promptly.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment, encouraging social interaction among residents.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by company policies.
Requirements
- Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a certification in caregiving being an advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in elderly care or a similar environment is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to handle stressful situations with grace.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R8,000 – R12,000 per month.
