Exciting Opportunity: Welding Inspector (IWS) at Flink in Vanderbijlpark

Are you an experienced professional in the welding industry? Flink is currently seeking a dedicated Welding Inspector (IWS) to join their innovative team in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to quality assurance and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor welder qualifications and certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and quality documentation to maintain a transparent workflow.
  • Identify and report non-conformities and discrepancies, ensuring immediate corrective actions are taken.
  • Collaborate with welders and management to improve processes and address quality issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of welding activities on-site and verify adherence to specifications.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Relevant certification in welding technology or inspection.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a welding environment, with at least 2 years as a Welding Inspector.
  • Skills: Knowledge of welding processes and procedures, as well as relevant standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.
