A leading company, Helderberg Personnel, is currently in search of a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team in Somerset West, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a B.Comm (Accounting) or a similar degree to launch their careers in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with local corporate tax regulations.
- Support month-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements
- Qualification: B.Comm (Accounting) or a similar degree is required.
- Certification: SAIPA registration is preferred.
- Experience: Previous exposure to accounting practices is advantageous.
