Key Responsibilities
- Implement safety, health, and environmental procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and improve workplace safety.
- Provide training sessions and workshops for employees on safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Prepare and maintain safety and health documentation, incident reports, and inspections.
- Work closely with management to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
Requirements
- Education: SAMTRAC Qualification or equivalent.
- Certification: Occupational Health and Safety Act Training Certificate.
- Experience: Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently.
