Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and design teams to develop mechanical BIM models ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Execute BIM processes for all Mechanical Building Services disciplines including HVAC and wet services, maintaining adherence to AECOM’s quality standards.
- Integrate project requirements into BIM software workflows, ensuring efficient design delivery and coordination.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on BIM model progress and addressing technical issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and team productivity.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, coupled with a strong understanding of BIM technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with BIM in mechanical disciplines, particularly in data center projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in Revit and other core discipline-specific software is essential.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in HVAC and mechanical services design.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.
