Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and codes of good practice.
- Develop and implement health and safety procedures and programs to mitigate workplace hazards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and monitor safety systems.
- Provide training and guidance to staff regarding health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, compiling reports and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements
- Qualification: A relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a safety role within the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Certifications: NEBOSH or similar qualification is preferred.
