A leading company in the production of Food Ingredients for the Food, Pharmaceuticals, and Health & Nutrition industries, Professional Career Services is currently seeking a driven Health & Safety Officer for a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations within the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, compiling reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Health and Safety role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Skills: Knowledge of health and safety laws, excellent communication, and training abilities.
- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R20,000 per month.
