Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data center hardware and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform routine inspections, upgrades, and repairs on servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Document procedures, system changes, and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Relevant technical qualification in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a data center environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of server virtualization, networking protocols, and system monitoring tools.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco, etc.) would be advantageous.
