Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments and generate reports to identify potential health and safety hazards in the workplace.
- Organize and conduct workplace safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Train employees on health and safety practices and provide guidance on best practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
- Qualification: A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within an industrial environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of local health and safety legislation and the ability to translate it into effective policies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others regarding safety practices.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R35,000 – R55,000 per month.
