Exciting Opportunity: Administrative Officer: Human Rights at Western Cape Government

Are you passionate about advocating for human rights and ensuring transparent governance? Western Cape Government is seeking a skilled Administrative Officer: Human Rights. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to corporate services relations management in the vibrant city of Cape Town, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee compliance with various legislative frameworks, including the Promotion of Access to Information Act and the Public Finance Management Act.
  • Lead project management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within human rights frameworks.
  • Oversee procurement and tendering processes to align with governmental policies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures for effective service delivery.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments to ensure continuous improvement in service administration.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Relevant degree in Public Administration, Human Rights, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in public sector administration with a focus on human rights advocacy.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and policy development capabilities.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R397,116 – R467,790 per year.
