Exciting Opportunity: Construction Cost Clerk/Administrator in Durbanville

A leading company in the construction sector, HR Genie, is currently seeking a numerically inclined and proactive Construction Cost Clerk/Administrator. This is an incredible opportunity to make an impact in a reputable commercial construction firm located in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and tracking project costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and reports for current and upcoming construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial documents and contracts related to construction costs.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in financial data and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Relevant diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cost administration or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficiency in cost management software, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capacity to work under pressure.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
