Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medication and managing pharmacy inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient queries and guiding them on medication use.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and assist in the management of controlled substances.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and keep the pharmacy environment clean and organized.
- Stay up-to-date with pharmaceutical knowledge and procedures, including training initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Qualification: Post Basic Qualifying Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
- Registration: Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Experience: Prior working experience with Unisolv or similar pharmacy management software is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient care.
