Key Responsibilities
- Oversee technical operations in BSL3/BSL4 facilities, ensuring adherence to biosafety protocols.
- Manage a team of technical staff, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless laboratory operations.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports related to laboratory activities and compliance.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in biosafety technical and managerial roles.
- Expertise: At least 5 years’ experience managing operations of high biocontainment laboratories (BSL3/BSL4).
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in biomedical sciences or related fields.
