Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational health nursing support and services to employees.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and monitoring of employee health and wellness.
- Develop and implement health programs to promote wellness and prevent occupational injuries.
- Collaborate with the HSE Officer/Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate health records and reports as required.
- Educate employees about health risks and preventive measures in the workplace.
- Respond to workplace medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Requirements
- Qualification: Registered Nurse with specialization in Occupational Health.
- Licensure: Valid registration with the SA Nursing Council and indemnity to practice with SASOHN.
- Experience: Previous experience in occupational health nursing preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail.
