Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and support for patients during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by preparing the operating room and organizing surgical instruments.
- Maintain sterile techniques and monitor compliance with infection control protocols.
- Interact effectively with healthcare teams, ensuring all parties are informed and on the same page.
- Document patient care and communicate any changes in condition to the medical team.
Requirements
- Qualification: Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in interactions with doctors and patients.
- Experience: Previous experience in a surgical theatre setting is preferred.
- Attributes: Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with a diverse team.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R35,000 – R50,000 per month.
