• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting observations and progress meticulously.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans and adjust as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions and wound management techniques.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment to ensure the safety of patients.

Requirements

• Qualification: Valid Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Experience: Proven work experience in wound care, preferably in a surgical or hospital environment.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills and exceptional patient communication.
• Additional Certifications: Wound care certification is highly beneficial.
