Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Plan and execute internal health and safety audits, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to staff about safety procedures and practices.
- Monitor and assess workplace hazards, ensuring that employees are aware of potential risks.
Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role or industry, with a solid understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: SAMTRAC or similar occupational health and safety certifications are advantageous.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
