Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the production and maintenance of tooling equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with various departments to guarantee the timely completion of tool design and production.
- Provide technical expertise in the design and construction of molds and dies.
- Manage tool inventory and procurement to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of toolmakers, ensuring their continuous development and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Qualification: Matric certificate with a Toolmaker/Tool, Jig & Die Maker Trade Test or Fitter & Turner Trade Test.
- Experience: Proven experience with thermoforming tooling and supervisory roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and knowledge of safety regulations.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R25,000 – R40,000 per month.
