A leading company in the healthcare sector, Dis-Chem Pharmacies, is currently seeking a dedicated Store Driver (Fixed Term) for their store in Worcester. This is a prime opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a well-respected establishment in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers and other locations in a timely manner, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is operational and meets safety standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading products, verifying quantities, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including obtaining customer signatures.
Requirements
- Qualification: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver in a retail or delivery setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
