Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and related components.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs under the guidance of a Qualified Mechanic, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair work completed and parts used.
- Foster a productive and cooperative work environment while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant technical qualifications or certification in diesel mechanics.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and in a team, and keen to learn new skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary Range: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
