Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced life support to patients in emergency situations.
- Conduct patient assessments and implement appropriate care plans.
- Work effectively under pressure, ensuring prompt response times during events.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to secure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment protocols.
- Train and mentor newly qualified paramedics when required.
Requirements
- Qualification: Registration with HPCSA as an ALS/Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP).
- Experience: Newly qualified paramedics are welcome; 1 year’s ALS operational experience is advantageous.
- License: A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Skills: Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Attributes: Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
