A leading company in the healthcare sector, SANCA PRETORIA/SOSHANGUVE, is currently looking for dedicated Junior Social Workers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the community while working in a newly established in-patient alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre in Soshanguve, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients in recovery from substance abuse, facilitating their rehabilitation process.
- Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and social skills development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and case notes.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about addiction and recovery support.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
- Registration: Must be validly registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong empathy for those in recovery.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
