Key Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate nursing care to maternity patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any concerning changes to the medical staff.
- Educate patients and families about postnatal care and newborn health.
- Assist in the delivery of newborns, ensuring optimal care is delivered immediately post-delivery.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- Qualification: Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Experience: Preferably have two or more years of clinical experience in maternity or paediatric nursing.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
- Additional: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary Range: R25,000 – R35,000 per month.
