Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of Vital Strategies grants with government and local CSO/NGO partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create effective tobacco control policies and programs.
- Conduct research and analyze data related to tobacco use and control strategies.
- Facilitate training and workshops to enhance the capacity of local organizations in tobacco control initiatives.
- Engage in advocacy efforts to support and promote tobacco control legislation.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in tobacco control or related public health initiatives.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of other Southern African languages is an advantage.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R30,000 – R50,000 per month.
