A leading food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Food Safety Officer with strong experience in food safety and product quality management within a factory environment to join their team in Pretoria West.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the food safety management system to meet regulatory standards and quality control measures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address issues related to food safety and quality assurance.
- Provide training to staff on best practices in food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Manage corrective actions and report on the effectiveness of food safety measures.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in food safety roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and other relevant food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
