Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients, staff, and medical supplies to and from the hospital in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure the vehicle is in good working order by conducting regular maintenance checks and addressing any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to traffic laws and hospital policies to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Assist patients with mobility and loading/unloading of any necessary medical equipment.
- Complete daily logs and maintain accurate records of trips.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent level of education is essential.
- License: Valid Code 10 Driver’s license and PDP is essential. No infringements against the driver’s license/permit will be accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a driver, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
