Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Nurse or Professional Nurse in delivering patient care.
- Prepare patients for consultations by performing basic assessments as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Assist in the implementation of nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the nursing area and equipment.
Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric and a Higher Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursing setting is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Certifications: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) is preferred.
