Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel vehicles and develop effective solutions to repair them.
- Respond efficiently to breakdowns and emergency repair requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed, reporting any major issues to management.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and departments to streamline repair processes and improve fleet reliability.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in cargo fleet maintenance, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
