Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections on parts and components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize measuring equipment (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges) effectively to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with machine operators and production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and report any non-conformance to management.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of quality control processes to improve overall product quality.
Requirements
- Qualification: Preferably a trade-tested Toolmaker, Fitter, Turner, or Metal Machinist.
- Experience: Solid knowledge of measuring equipment and quality control standards.
- Skills: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with fellow staff and management regarding quality issues.
💰 Salary Insight
