Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medication and ensure compliance with all legal requirements and industry standards.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and health maintenance.
- Utilize SAP and E-scripting software for managing prescriptions and inventory.
- Act as a registered tutor, training staff and interns in pharmaceutical best practices.
- Ensure that all pharmacy operations comply with company policies and medical regulations.
- Assist in managing the pharmacy’s stock, including ordering and receiving medications.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
- Experience: Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably with SAP and Unisolv software.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least one additional language is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.
