Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee electrical maintenance activities in the chemical plant to ensure all systems are operating efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards including Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) for electrical installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical equipment and installations, addressing any issues promptly.
- Lead a team of technicians and electricians, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement in maintenance processes, systems, and safety practices.
Requirements
- Qualification: A National Diploma or BTech in Electrical Engineering is essential.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and SANS standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.
