A leading company, Air Traffic and Navigation Services, is currently seeking a dedicated Officer: Safety, Health and Environment (SHE). This is a prime opportunity to join a vital team in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management Systems to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to the National Environmental Management Act and other relevant legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and compile reports to mitigate future risks.
- Provide training and support to staff on SHE regulatory frameworks and best practices.
Requirements
- Qualification: A degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SHE compliance or similar roles.
- Knowledge: Understanding of relevant South African health and safety regulations.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 per month.
