A leading company in facilities management, Bidvest Facilities Management, is currently seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Officer. This is a prime opportunity to join a committed team in Centurion, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and continually improve the Safety 360 system to ensure compliance across multiple sites.
• Conduct safety audits at least twice a week and provide comprehensive written reports with photos to the HSE Manager.
• Monitor and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) on the Safety 360 system to uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with clients’ HSE representatives to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements

• Qualification: Relevant degree or certification in Health and Safety or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a health and safety role within a facilities management context.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of safety legislation and best practices.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to management.
