Exciting Opportunity: Junior Middle Office Specialist in South Africa

A leading company, Momentum Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Middle Office Specialist. This role offers an exciting entry point into the financial industry with opportunities for growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Corporate Actuarial, Front Office, Back Office, and Tax teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Facilitate external audit processes, ensuring all required documentation is in order for the fixed income trading desk.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries accurately within agreed service levels, enhancing overall client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an understanding of financial reporting standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Qualification: A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a financial role is advantageous, particularly in middle office operations.
  • Skill Set: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in relevant financial software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction with stakeholders.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
