Key Responsibilities
- Safely conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on surface and plant electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide effective feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance tasks, especially where discrepancies arise.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all electrical maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Qualification: A relevant electrical qualification or trade test certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working as an electrician in an industrial setting.
- Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Certifications: Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to electrical maintenance.
