Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers, ensuring high-quality production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to create precise components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure longevity and productivity.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to meet specifications.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade qualified as a Fitter & Turner or Toolmaker.
- Experience: Approximately 5+ years in CNC programming and machining.
- Skills: Proficiency in Mastercam software, as well as lathe and milling machine operations.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
