Exciting Opportunity: Project Manager in Cape Town

A dedicated professional is sought by the Western Cape Government for the role of Project Manager: Education Cultural Affairs & Sport. This is a fantastic chance to contribute meaningfully within a crucial sector in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project delivery in alignment with the approved methodologies implemented by the Western Cape Government (WCG).
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project initiatives meet educational and cultural objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget management.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Facilitate team meetings, communication strategy, and project documentation to ensure clarity and accountability across all levels.

Requirements

  • Qualification: An appropriate degree in Project Management, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management, with demonstrated capability in managing cultural and educational projects.
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies and educational frameworks in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse communities.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R487,197 – R573,897 per year.
