Key Responsibilities
- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the maternity ward.
- Monitor patients’ health status and report changes to the Unit Manager.
- Assist with prenatal and postnatal care, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and newborns.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to promote a safe and effective healthcare environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per hospital policy.
Requirements
- Qualification: Registered with the South African Nursing Council.
- Experience: Previous experience in a maternity ward is preferred.
